INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES

We offer full interior design services for residential and commercial projects, working with architects, trade experts and craftsmen.  We will work closely with you during the initial briefing & design process through to installation, ensuring that every project remains uniquely tailored to the client, on time & within budget.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

PREPARATION AND BREIFING. We start with the design scope and an understanding of the clients ideas and aspirations. With visual inspiration we start to develop a feel or vibe, a design DNA which will run through the project. Review the Time Line and Project Cost Budget.

CONCEPT DESIGN. The design is developed. Sketch Floor Plans, Mood Boards and Material Samples are presented. In this stage we are developing a visual language to give your project its design DNA.

SPATIAL CO-ORDINATION STAGE. Site Survey. Develop General Arrangement Plans, Floor & Ceiling Finish Plans, Lighting & small power Plans. Elevations. Meet Suppliers and Visit Showrooms. Select Sanitaryware. Internal and material finishes finalised. FF& S specification. Final Mood Boards.

TECHNICAL DESIGN STAGE. Finalising the Design. Specification Documents giving detailed product information are collated to provide packages ready for contractors to quote against. Fitted Joinery Drawings & Custom Furniture is detailed and drawn. Finalise FF& E Specification. These elements are Budgeted & Tendered - initial cost assessment , update cost plan. Bespoke products developed to your personal preference and budget.

CONSTRUCTION STAGE.‍ ‍Programming - ensuring progress is closely monitored. Procurement - we have a network of talented craftsmen and artisans to produce our bespoke designs. Review Shop Drawings - Once drawings are available we cross check these with our design intent drawings to ensure the final results are correct. Client and Site Meetings - Regular meetings during construction are essential to maintain good communication & timely problem solving as well as keeping the client up to date with progress. Installation - We co-ordinate and oversee all furnishings, fixtures and equipment, including special decorative finishes & lighting. Snagging - defects are addressed with the rectified.

HANDOVER & USE STAGE. User and Maintenance manuals are collated for the client.

FULL PROCUREMENT SERVICES

We provide procurement services to all projects whatever the size. Goods & Services procured will receive a trade price or preferential rate, to which an agreed percentage margin is then applied. The percentage margin covers all aspects of the procurement process.

  • Sourcing of both Local, International and Trade Only Artisans, Craftsman and Manufacturers.

CONSULTANCY SESSIONS

These are very good if a full service isn’t for you but you discover you do need a bit of help with space planning and room layout, lighting, decoration etc.. The sessions are hourly.
